License Types
Personal Use License
A Personal Use License is for private, non-commercial use. It is suitable when the artwork is used for your own space, device, personal collection, or private creative project.
- Suitable for: personal wallpapers, phone or desktop backgrounds, personal wall prints, home decor, personal mood boards, private gifts, and non-commercial school or hobby projects.
- Not suitable for: business advertising, client work, product packaging, paid campaigns, resale products, public commercial displays, or files used as part of a service delivered to a customer.
Commercial Use License
A Commercial Use License is for business-related use where the artwork supports a brand, project, listing, presentation, content, or paid service. It allows wider use than personal licensing, but it still does not allow resale or redistribution of the original digital file.
- Suitable for: website or blog visuals, social media posts, YouTube thumbnails, marketplace listing images, Etsy or Gumroad covers, book covers, client presentations, product mockups, small business decor, poster or canvas presentation, and standard marketing visuals.
- Recommended product uses: Instagram Post, YouTube Thumbnail, Pinterest Pin, Etsy Listing Image, Gumroad Cover, Book Cover, Wall Art Print / Poster, Canvas / Decor, Office Decor, and Glass Sticker / Window Graphic when used for normal business or client presentation.
Extended Commercial License
An Extended Commercial License is for higher-value, broader, or larger-scale use. Choose this license when the artwork is used in a hospitality, corporate, public-facing, large-format, or high-visibility commercial environment.
- Suitable for: hotel lobby decor, large wall murals, commercial display graphics, office installations, retail window displays, showroom graphics, glass wall or window partition graphics, cafe or restaurant decor, event visuals, and broader client campaigns.
- Recommended product uses: Hotel Lobby Decor / Large Wall Mural, Hotel Lobby Glass Sticker / Window Graphic, Commercial Display, large office decor, large glass/window graphics, and any project where the artwork becomes part of a public or business-facing installation.
Product Use and License Matching
- Digital Only usually matches a Personal Use License unless the buyer plans to use the file for business content, client work, or marketing.
- Social media, marketplace covers, book covers, posters, canvas decor, office decor, and standard glass/window graphics usually match a Commercial Use License.
- Hotel lobby, large wall mural, commercial display, showroom, retail window, and large glass installation use usually match an Extended Commercial License.
- If the same artwork is offered in different contexts, the price may change because product use, resolution tier, license scope, output package, and mockup value can all affect the final quote.
Printing and Display
You may print the artwork according to the license type. Print quality depends on the file resolution, print size, PPI, material, print provider, and viewing distance.
- Image only means you are purchasing or quoting the digital artwork/master file only. Physical production, material, shipping, installation, and local print costs are not included unless clearly stated.
- When a product is described as a glass/window, poster, canvas, mural, or decor master, the term describes the intended product use of the digital file. It does not automatically include physical production unless the product page says so.
What Is Not Allowed
- Selling, redistributing, sharing, or uploading the original digital file as a downloadable asset.
- Uploading the file to stock websites, asset marketplaces, AI training datasets, or free download platforms.
- Claiming Dream Pixels artwork as your own original creation.
- Using the artwork in misleading, illegal, harmful, hateful, or offensive content.
- Using the artwork as a logo, trademark, or exclusive brand identity unless a separate written agreement allows it.
No Exclusive Ownership
Unless explicitly stated in writing, purchasing a Dream Pixels file does not grant exclusive ownership, copyright transfer, trademark rights, or the right to prevent Dream Pixels from selling or displaying similar artwork.
